How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

As soon as you have a firm date in mind. Weekends and holidays through the summer can sell out quickly. It is recommended to book the maximum number of seats you need as soon as you have a date in mind.

What is Jet Boat Joe's cancellation policy?

All cancellations require 24 hours notice. Any seats not canceled 48 hours prior to trip will be charged 100% of the fare, unless seats are filled by another paying fare.

How do I make a reservation?

Book by calling (580) 494-2220 or coming by the office at 242 Stevens Gap Road.

How do seating arrangements work?

All seating is managed by the driver. Safety is our priority and your driver will do their best to keep families and groups together. The driver reserves the right to alter, designate, or change any passenger's seat for any reason at any time.

When should we arrive to check-in?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time to meet your driver, fit your life jacket and finish required paperwork. Please be advised that if you are late, your seat will be sold to stand-by customers. You will be charged the full amount if the seat cannot be re-sold and the trip departs without you.

What is the season for Jet Boating?

Jet Boat Joe's operates May through September. Charter trips can be scheduled any time of the year by appointment.

Are there any age limitations?

Not really; it has more to do with each person's sense of adventure, physical size and condition.

With kids, the parents know their children best. Children should be at least 40" tall and 50lbs to participate in our tour. The age of 4 is a good age and they must be adventurous.

What if I have health issues?

Only guests in good health should participate in a Jet Boat Joe's ride. Jet Boat tours can create forces that may not be appropriate for some. For your safety, do not ride if you are pregnant, have any medical/health condition, have had any recent surgeries, or are in poor physical condition. You must be able to maneuver throughout the boat if needed. Anyone with neck and or back injuries should not ride. We are not handicap accessible but we are able to make exceptions on a case-to-case basis. Every participant will have to sign a waiver of release.

Are life jackets provided?

Life jackets are provided and mandatory for all passengers.

How should I dress for the trip?

For most days, shorts, T-shirts and sandals work well, and quick-drying materials are best. Avoid jeans; they are uncomfortable when wet and dry slowly.

Hats and sunglasses are recommended with a retainer.

Identification, cash and credit card: Keep these handy for souvenir purchases and gratuities.

Please leave wallets, purses, backpacks, and bags secured in your vehicle.

May I bring my electronic devices?

Bring electronic items at your own risk. Jet Boat Joe's cannot be responsible for damage or loss of any electronic equipment. (Just don't bring it, they will get wet) If your vehicle uses an electronic key we can hold it in our office while you are on the water.

Are foods, beverages, alcohol or smoking allowed?

Nonalcoholic beverages in plastic containers are allowed on the boat, but not recommended. Please leave food items in your vehicle. Alcohol and smoking are not allowed on the boat or dock areas at any time.

Where is Jet Boat Joe's located?

We are located at 242 Stevens Gap Road, Broken Bow, OK.

How many people ride in the boat?

11 passengers and 1 driver. If your group is larger than 11, we can run 'back to back' tours with your party.

How fast does the boat go?

Cruising speed is around 30-35 mph. The boat can, but will not exceed 45 mph. The tour shows off the speed, maneuverability and power of our custom river boat.

There are no restroom facilities available on board the boat. A restroom is available at our office.
